Neither am I in favor or cruelty to animals. Fact is, I'd much prefer to see medical, and cosmetic testing performed on life sentenced or death sentenced convicts than animals. The animals have done nothing to deserve cruelty, the criminals often have.
I do strenuously object to the PETA idiots, and the "Animal Rights Terrorists" (Terrorists being the operant word) attempting to force their ideals and way of life down my throat.
You have given up meat on medical grounds. The other young man has given up meat on moral grounds. I have no objection to either. However, my doctor has yet to forbid meat, and I have no ethical or moral objections to eating meat, but I am not going to attempt to force meat-eating on anyone who objects.
Your logical comments should give some mindless followers of PETA doctrine something to think about.
