OK Al, I'll be kind, that is a nice looking fireplace. But that is one awesome looking kilt!

I have an Irish National on order right now, and seeing the pics makes me know I will be getting a black sweater to go with it!

!!! Every time I see Irish National, I want it even more!! Al, I think you just cost me another kilt...(Not that I'm complaining, necessarily...) ;)

I like it, your tartan seems a little darker than Mine, yours is almost a forest green, and mine a kelly green. But then again I like the lighter colors. Makes me seem more innocent... hahhahaha

Al,
Very nice. Well put together.
I'm not sure if it's just my monitor but it looks a little darker that the House of Edgar, 16 oz wool, Irish National. I like it better.

Thanks guys!!
I really like this kilt. It's very heavy and warm, so I haven't been wearing it at all, other than trying it on. Once the temps start to drop it will be my kilt of choice. For the summer heat I prefer my Bear or UK.
It was made by Southern Celts, who as far as I know are unfortunately no longer in business. Chris (from SC) had it listed in the "for sale" section here then he put it on Ebay. That's where I saw it. It's 9 yards of 60/40 wool blend, and it is gorgeous!
Cory...I also have a Stillwater Irish National (economy) kilt, and the colour and pattern is quite a bit different. The SW is lighter green and has a larger pattern to it.

Great piccies, you've reminded me of how much I love that tartan. I like the darker version too.
Is Chris still making kilts? we've not seen him here for a while.
He made a Morrison Modern for me, it's a fine kilt.
