Fergus Games
Wow!
After our beautiful wedding the week before, we geared up to cut our teeth at our home town games and I was shocked at the response we got and the number of orders that were taken. I really appreciated the advice and support from the other vendors, especially Canucks and Kilted Stuart, who not only braved the rain but added the extra moral support for a newbie to the scene. Also Archangel and Blu, it was great to have met you and I hope we'll see you soon. Last but not least, I'd like to thank my beautiful wife for delaying our honeymoon by one week so we could be at the games. She is one of a kind.
I know this is long winded and drawn out, but I'm very grateful for everything.
Thank you
MacHummel

Hey...what's with all the modesty....can't google up "Canada Casual Kilts"
MacHummel doesn't have a link on his profile...
Is this some sort of secret kiltmaking venture?
What's the scoop??

We got up to Fergus on Wednesday for the concert, which rocked, and the Games on Sunday. Praise for the event for keeping their prices down so it was quiet economical. There was less flea market type vendors than I remember in the past, which is a good thing.
Tons of kilts, not just the pipers and dancers. The sheep shearing was done by a guy in a kilt so people got to see how practical it was for real work. He wore a R-Kilt sporran.
It was my first chance to see utility kilts (the company), either their booth/display or their products. People, for the price difference, R-kilts' product is far superior in every way.
I met MacHummel. A nice guy, he was very busy. His product looks good. It is what he says it is, a casual kilt. My experience with other casual kilts is limited to a sportkilt. I can only refer to it this way: the construction, design, and material are several grades above a sportkilt. He really needs to get the website up and running for you to appreciate this.
I didn't see any police in kilts this year but there is a picture of one in the free, thick program, cool. I did talk to a policeman there and he said wearing a kilt was allowed in their uniform under some condition.
We had a very good time and got well fed and I didn't go to work today.
