Thanks for the encouragement, but he's a 5 hour round trip away on wild and crazy Navajo reservation roads....

Well, I'm a piper, anyway...Been Highland piping for around 10ish years, and I also play uilleann pipes, scottish smallpipes, northumbrian smallpipes, and just about anything else with drones! ;)

    Me a Piper?

Sorry, no. I did, about 9 years ago, join a group to learn, but the time crunch got me. I still have my chanter and all the relevant information, but with a wife, 2 kids, and a dog, the time isn't there. I've pulled out my chanter a couple of times, recently, and boy, does my dog love to sing along.

I'll learn, eventually, but not right now. I'll just have to be content with my other instruments.

I'm a failed piper. I tried for 6 months, I blew and blew on the 'misery stick'.
I'm just happy to support our local band as vice president and leave the playing to others.

Well done Sav, I envy anyone who can play the pipes, especially the uilleann pipes, scottish smallpipes, and northumbrian smallpipes. I love them all!
