why thank you sir!! History, well, that's something Scotland has in bucketloads, and something I miss in Tasmania. Just standing in some of those places gives you a real sense of the timelessness of Scotland.

Graham,
The picture inside the abby chapel was one I tried to get however I used my manual Nikon FM2 and I fudged the result. The effect just wasn't there. Your's captures the atmosphere of the place. The Simple tranquility.

Thanks David, I didn't think my lowly Canon digital would beat a Nikon F2!!
It was a "lucky" shot, if the flash had gone off it would have ruined it.
How is your kilt-jacket from Inverness? Do you like it?
