I'm glad that when I was last in the South it was winter time! It's humid enough here in Boston in the summer, and I remember the humidity when I lived in Atlanta.

I regret not stopping in at the Tartan Museum the last time I was in the area - the outdoor centre on the Nantahala River is very close to Franklin - so I'm glad you took the opportunity to check it out.

I had worn my Gordon Modern from USA kilt so imagine my surprise to enter the museum and find the gent behind the counter in denim shorts.

Yeah, that would be Ronan. I give him a hard time about that. He has three kilts, for goodness' sake, but you can't get him out of his denim shorts except on special occasions. I call him the Scottish "Mario Batalli."
