Bil, you're in California; I though, by definition, that makes us lunatics.

Welcome Bil,
Great to see you've found our little corner of the web. The wealth of information I've gained in the short time I've been coming here is amazing. Take a look around, make yourself at home, and know that we kilted folk may be few and far between but we're out there and we're loving it.

Aye, I guess it does! Being a Californian definately marks you as being a bit on the strange side, I hate to admit. I suppose it has something to do with all the sunshine. Too much sun can have an effect on the mind much the same way that a deficiency of sun can make you depressed and overly eccentric.
Still, wearing a kilt still marks you as an outsider, even in this state. Oh well, mark me as an outsider then!

last month I experienced CA for the first time, I was in Sonoma county visiting a celtic band who live there.
I must say that i enjoyed my stay there. I wish I'd had more time in san Fransisco, I drove thru briefly on the way to the airport, it looked a great place (for a city).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay here in cyberspace. Enjoy the kilt, simply the best garment God ever gave to Man.

Who's depressed and overly eccentric? <looks around frantically> Speaking for myself (and perhaps a few other nightowls) I know that if it wasn't for daytime I wouldn't sleep at all.
Cheers

I was thinking more along the line of living in the fog... let me clarify. Weather induced fog, not alcohol induced fog. Come the weekend I tend to get more sleep during the day than I do at night but that's due to the alcohol induced fog I mentioned above.
