Now the jonesing is overflowing.
I just received a call from my mother, and my "package from Britain" is sitting on the porch, waiting for me to swing by and pick it up.
4 hours, 45 minutes to go!
I think I'm about to have an anxiety attack!

Breath in, Breath out. Inhale then exhale it is well worth it!
Glad to hear that it is so close!

Let me first say that this is the first time I've worn pants in three days (aside from a brief wearing of shorts yesterday whilst driving).
The kilt came and all I can cry is...FREEDOM!!!
I wore it to the market. I wore it to church. I wore it at a bbq yesterday (long drive, hence the shorts...didn't want to wrinkle the pleats!). I wore it here, I wore it there, I wore it everywhere. The fiancee was quite amused.
The local children now refer to me as "The Scottish Guy". The security guard at Best Buy said I was looking "tight" and congratulated me on having the cajones to wear it. More than a few ladies smiled at me.
Now if I can only get these uptight lawyers here at the firm to let me wear it here, I'd be the happiest man alive.
I'll have some pics up once I get a hold of my mother's digital camera.

There's nothing like a "tank" is there?
1). Knowing that it's wool and will repel anything but women.
2). Knowing that it's completely handsewn by a trained kiltmaker.
3). Knowing that you'll have it 'til the day you die.
4). Knowing that no matter how strong the wind is... you're covered.
5). Knowing that your kilt outweighs a mini-Cooper
6). Having that feeling on your hips like a belt and a couple six-shooters.
Incidentally, the tartan you chose is one of the most beautiful out there!

Unfortunately, it's not in the Double Davidson. I did receive an email months back about it not being available and taking even more time to get, which I don't have (thanks to the impending wedding).
I was just so excited that I forgot about that D'oh!
It's in the Modern Davidson tartan which I'm quite pleased with.
