Sounds like a great idea. I came home to find that the company I work for is cocidering selling us........So I might be "right sized" this time too.

Bodyglide
This is a different product but is equally useful and prevents chaffing. see http://www.eros-uk.co.uk/

I believe the Highland Regiments in WWI used talcum powder - like Johnson & Johnson's Baby Powder. I've still got some of their Prickly Heat Powder, which has a mild antiseptic and fungicide in it.

It never fails to amaze me at how much I learn on this site. I've been fighting the problem of chafing for years and all I have ever done about it is grin and bear it.
Body Glide... Who'd of thought? I'm ordering some right now!
Thanks again for the info, guys!

I've found that baby power works well under regular daily conditions, but when exerting yourself, like when hiking, it doesn't hold up. I just picked up a tube of Body-Glide and will give it a try.

Not sure if this will help anyone but my fiance swears by this lotion/moisturizer:
Claddagh Botanical
She has a rare skin allergy (oddly affecting only her hands) that inflames occasionally and to ward it off she [previously] used a prescribed lotion to help relieve the redness, itching, dryness and burning cause by the allergy. After discovering Claddagh Botanical at one of our local Irish shops, she hasn't gone back to her prescription lotion once...I'm happy that its helping her and that it smells a lot better than the prescription stuff.
The Claddagh Botanical company is located in Virginia and the lotion is made in the USA. I don't think it's sold anywhere on the internet (not even at their own site) and you won't find it on eBay. You may have to head outdoors to your local Irish, Scottish or Celtic shop to find the lotion; however, the company's contact information (address, telephone) is listed on their website in order for you to reach them if you have questions.
Just a thought but maybe it will help some of you guys who suffer from the chafing problem you've mentioned. Good luck.
