I would make a wonderful crash test dummy for aspiring kilt makers. :-D

I have some green plaidish cotton if you've got a waist size for me...

(I can never remember if plaid or tartan is the right word for a geoetric repeating pattern of lines.)

Anyway- you can see pics of the pattern here.

May not be your cup of tea, though. (The cord's still kicking my *** right now, so I haven't been fabric shopping in a while)

Hey Shay, where the hell did you get those rivets? I've looked everywhere, Joann fabric as ONE style of rivet, and online all I can find is: A) rivets for metalworking, or B) links to companies in hong kong/taiwan that make clothing rivets that will sell them by the pallet.

I found an excellent source for snaps, now I need rivets.

    I found them at a super-Joann's, they're denim rivets.

    *runs downstairs to check*

They're Dritz, the tan package with the needle tomato on it.

Sav- as soon as I finish wrestling with the cord, you're on the list.

Are they silver? The only rivets I've seen at my Joann's are chrome, in your pics they look at least copper or brass.

Oh, no, they're silver. We have yellow walls in my kitchen, it's probably reflecting off the metal.
    Oh, but here:

    Does that help?
