Oh, sheesh, see how quickly that can happen? Doc proposes a legislative change and I agree with him. However, his proposal included gender specific language. While I meant people, I did inadvertently agree that only men have the weapons. After all my training and teaching, I get caught early in the morning.
For the record, I agree with Doc's statement if he will reword it to a gender neutral format.

Just a matter of semantics Archangel and you know it.
I'm old enough to have learned English uses man as a shorthand for mandkind, and I am not Politically Correct enough to change the way I talk or write. I also still say 'Yes mam and no mam" and open doors for ladies.
BTW, my Mom has carried a gun of nearly 40 years and no way I'd want to bar her or any other woman from that right.

we'll leave that first sentence for now....
My mum, I've mentioned before, as a young teen lived near the commando training centre in Scotland, her brothers were commando, and the missing since Aden one just came out of deep cover two years ago, maybe SAS, probably worse. The world might be safer if she carried a gun.
