    Now it can be told!

Whilst on my recent visit to Vancouver for The Gathering, we went over to Victoria for a day (Not long enough. Must return) and whilst the others went whale watching, Steve gave me a personally conducted tour of the city explaining its history as we went. The arrangement had been made that everyone would meet up later in the day at the Freedom Kilts premises and so it was but, before the rest of the group arrived, I had ordered a Freedom Kilt for myself and had been carefully measured for it by Steve.

Having seen at first hand the detail and the craft that Steve puts into his kilts, I am quite prepared to wait (I think until November) for mine to arrive. The wait will be difficult, but bearable in the knowledge that I will be receiving a truly first class garment and one that I will be proud to wear.

And so a Freedom Kilt is to be added to 'The Kilt Kollection' ........

You know, Hamish, for as many times as you get asked this question, you should just put it in your sig file!

Oh, you are worthy John. We legends are not what we were a few centuries ago, although........... ;)

Since my return to England from Vancouver, two weeks ago, the total has remained unchanged at 55. The Freedom Kilt is the only one currently on order, although there are two others from Scotland that I am dithering over at the moment. Oh, and then there will be my "X Marks the Scot" tartan kilt which will be made up for me in Scotland when the fabric comes through.

I still have a few photos of the latest acquisitions to be added to my Photo Album - that is scheduled for the weekend ahead!

    Thanks for asking.

    My dear Hamish

My thanks for your kind and patient reply.

I had no idea that so many people asked you that so often. It really is nice to have conversation with a guy like you.

My kilt outfit (rental, sigh) is on its way and should be here by Monday.

My only redeeming feature will be that I am planning on having family portraits taken while we have them.

Thanks again for your patience to a new, poor clergyman.

By the way, just out of curiousity, do you have a Robertson kilt?

I think that might be somewhat presumptuous. After all, I am a modest man and don't always like to draw attention to myself !!!!! ;) ;)

John, it is a greater pleasure for me to speak with you than it could possibly be for you, but it is nevertheless kind of you so say so.

By the way, we have strayed entirely off topic since this thread is hallowed Freedom Kilts' territory (VERY sorry Steve and Hank!). However, very quickly: no, I don't have a Robertson - yet!!

Now, we'd best move elsewhere or knuckles will be rapped.

    Thanks Hamish.

Now, enough of my hijacking this thread and thanks to all for your patience.
