Well, start with a nice head of hair, if that's your thing, a Prince Charlie and a tuxedo shirt, a dress sporan, a tank kilt, oh, don't forget a proper vest, proper hose, flashes, and some ghillies.
I think that covers it.
Of course, you could go a slightly different direction and get married in a great kilt and really strip down and simplify things.

You left out the bow tie. A nice kilt pin is also good. Another nice touch would be a fly plaid in the same tartan as your kilt, with a nice brooch.

Why a tie?
Why not a cravat?

Don't forget the pre-nup!
Keep it securely in your sporran, because like a sporran, the pre-nup covers your b*lls when needed!

Okay Murray,
It depends on how formal you'd like to be at the wedding. The first thing to do is decide on a look.
Have a look at Hamish's photo album and pick a look you and the future Mrs. Murray like.
Then start shopping and asking questions.

You know, I would never, ever wear a tie, even upon pain of death... But I would wear one of those for some odd reason because I like how they look. Respectable and distinguished. And with me looking as beastly as I do, I bet I would be quite a sight wearing one, as far as contrasts go. Ties on the other hand, just look stupid.

I can just see you wearing a jabot and lace cuffs and a Montrose jacket. Right out of Beauty and the Beast.
