I plan to do basic wire wrapping, silver knotwork, rings, bracelets, torcs! and other various metal bits. I do plan to specialise in silver, but will do some copper, bronze, and gold work. I have some novel ideas for kilt pins, using braided knotted wire designs done on a jig. No idea if it will work, but the idea keeps tumbling around my head. Also have some idea for broaches and cloak clasps, but I doubt there is a market for those. That said, a nice broach to clip a fly plaid would be awful nice. Wrapped wire around simi-precious gemstones and pretty bits of rock or amber are simple but elegant, as well as being true to Celtic roots.
I have a couple of ideas. Like, Sidhe Silverworks. But I don't know if that is really a good name for a business. Seems... Fringe.
I plan to try and get a small amount of business through ebay, but I really don't like the idea of hooking paypal up to my bank funds. I have some local stores that are interested. What I would like, when this is actually up and running and I have some experience under my belt to start making quality goods, is an established kilt vendor to sell some of my broaches, kilt pins, and torcs. But that will be a long time from now. For now, I am just taking baby steps with an eye on the future of what might be.

I wouldn't name a business after the Sidhe but I'm superstitious that way and would worry about them coming for their due.
I like Hammered Mettle the best so far.

I have no fear of some Pookah coming and giving me a wild ride in to Sidhe exile. The Sidhe know their own, and I am sure there would be room at their table for me.

If you've no objection to a name in Dwarvish, I'll check in the appendicies of Lord of the Rings and see if I can come up with something.

The problem is with the LoTR stuff, the general public doesn't always know how to speak it or say it. Which can be bad. But it is a source of good ideas.

Funny, that's what I thought about Sidhe. I don't know what it is or how to pronounce it. Company names should be easy to say and easy to remember.

Celtic mettle (actually the name of an album by Loretto Reid).

what about including the word Celtic? I know it's often used, but it sends a clear message as to the style of your work (if indeed that doea describe it).

I find that odd with your fae logo. Sidhe, pronounced Shee, are the faerie folk of Celtic lore. :-D

With your frequent reference to things dwarvish, perhaps something based on the dwarvish silver, Mithral <sp>.
My other idea is just way to obvious...Dread's Family Jewels.
