Was up on Third Mesa on the Hopi Reservation a few weeks ago for one of their Kachina dances. Over a hundred men pounding on drums and dancing in unison. Elaborate ceremonial dress. Most men in a deerskin or leather skirt. About a half a dozen in true lace trimmed petticoats. Go figure...no way anyone would tease any of those proud men.
