I say, you like them yellow hose? Then WEAR 'em and anybody that's got a problem, well, it's THEIR problem!
......though I might not wear them to a wedding or a Burns night or something...
But let me take a wild guess here...you're not the shy, retiring, wallflower type of guy? LOLOL

I know a chap who owns a kilt in the red-and-yellow MacMillan tartan ("Dress MacMillan") who wears yellow hose with red flashes -- he wore it to a St. Andrew's Dance I attended in St. Louis, and it was one of the most strking formal outfits I have seen!

Short socks, or kilt hose pushed down with boots is a look I like for casual, cream, oatmeal or darker colours (navy) look good with stewart hunting.
