You'll read from a load of the guys that owning kilts is addictive.
As a seamstress... trust me... you'll find that MAKING them is even more addictive. You have the skills to kick them out in no time, and have them looking great.
Glad to have you with us. This is the best forum on kilts. I grew up thinking that 'sexy' and 'God' were mutually exclusive terms. Don’t believe that anymore. I started reading Andrew Greeley and figured it out. So much for theology.
Many thanks for all the warm welcomes. You're all very kind.

Hmmm, I don't think my sons would complain about that! Now if I could just find more time....
"Making them is also great therapy."
That might go along with the sewing. This is from the Home Sewing Association:
"Experience the relaxing and restorative powers of sewing. Studies commissioned by the HSA have found that women who sew - both experienced and beginner sewers - have a significant drop in heart rate, blood pressure, and perspiration rate. The studies also concluded that activities like sewing stimulate a child's creativity and serve as an effective tool in building self-esteem. Feeling stressed? Then retreat into your sewing area and give yourself some creative time. Sewing ... it's the alternative yoga!"
I would assume that men would receive the same benefits from sewing.

See previous note about time.
Kiltman, I've never read AG, so I'll just have to trust you on that.
