    Wow. At $350.00 U.S. there is no chance I'll ever own one of those. Maybe it's just me, but that price seems far out of line even considering the titanium parts.

    you know, I never even looked at the price before, it wasn't what I wanted. That's an outrageous price for a factory knife. I couldn't justify that.

    Their previous model, the fixed blade, skean dhu, Culloden, was less than $US50 if I remember correctly. I thought that was pushing it.

    Yep, and IIRC, they put the last ones on close out sale for $36.00 USD, but I was too late to get one.

    Still think I'll order one of their black synthetic sgian dhus for about ten bucks though.

    Hey Dr. Douglas,

    How would this little sticker fit your mitt?



    The blade is 2" long but the grip looks like it is made for a mansized hand.

    I found it listed under knives at the Jarls of Lochlann website. Priced at $20.00 and made in Norway.

    Man......if only a knife company such as Mora would combine a scandinavian knife with a sgian dubh......
