Thanks for all the encouragement, I have every confidence that the kilt will be fine, even tho' it is a departure from the traditional style I love.

My recent interest in plain can only be the result of either 1. the increasing addiction taking hold and driving me to a more "hard core" position, or 2. the corrupting influence of this forum.

Either way, "fear not, neither be ye troubled" I have not abandoned tartan, nothing can compare with the beauty, history and colour of tartan.

I'm already enquiring with Rocky about further tartans.;) so look out Hamish

Oh plain and simple Graham, it was inevitable that you would get into solid color kilts. You like to keep people guessing, so now you will have them guessing whether you are going to wear a tartan or a plain.

Now as far as catching up with Hamish, you know that he gets a new kilt about every other week, so unless you have a huge windfall of cash, he still will be way ahead of us all. Go Hamish!!!

Actually Glen, apart from the Freedom Kilt from Steve, the kilt length of the forthcoming "X Marks..." tartan (which will be made up for me in Scotland), and a couple of other orders, yet to be confirmed, from KiltStore and Savannah Kilts, there is nothing else in the pipeline at the moment.

You may bank on it, Steve!

But - he will not be "jumping the line" or getting any preferential treatment.
WHAT?! Seriously Steve, I would not expect to either. Unless........!

(To Hamish - You have made it to the top row of the Order Board.)
Now that's what I like to hear! That means there are only about three or four ahead of me now - if I remember your Order Board correctly, Steve. Well done, Sir!
