First Time Kilted at Church

I wear kilts to church now and again, though I'm a spotty church-goe'r, especially in the summer. September is here, though, and I'll be getting back into the swing of it (pun intended) shortly.

I wore mine for the first time yesterday to my Ruthenian Catholic church (populated by ethnic Rusyns and Slovaks) and aside from a few odd glances from a few of the children, got nothing but praise. Our deacon asked, "What's the special occasion?" and I replied, "Why, Sunday, of course!". He laughed and said, "Good, good for you!"

My pastor (Irish himself) asked if I was going to hunt down any Englishmen later that day. ;)

Once again, aside from a few odd looks from people, I've had nothing but compliments since going kilted as much as possible.
