New Kilt
I thought you all might like to see my new kilt & sporran.
The kilt is a Kilt Store, MacDonald of the Isles Hunting. Orderded 8/8 and arrived 9/12, happy birthday to me!
The sporran is a Freelander.
Nice huh?

Nice one, Dave! Let us know if you get nailed with charges from US Customs. If you do, it'll arrive in a few days in the form of an invoice from FedEx....

Thank you all!
Now for the whole story, sorry I had to duck out and finish some mandatory testing for my license.
I started with the kilt, Kilt Store, with discount. Had a bit of trouble ordering the kilt. First the computer on their side was down, time differences, a couple of other nit picky things. They threw in the great red flashes and apologized. At that point I felt that that was not even necessary. Kilt was pushed up to make it here for the birthday, most excellant. Only flaw, I really wanted three buckles, only got two. I got two emails with sincere apologies, one had a 20% off coupon for any order within a year, no limit. Again, not really necessary, but nice.
Decided I had to have a freelander. Exchanged several emails, paypal sent for sporran & two belts. The sporran is fantastic as you can see. I may even try to get better pics up. The brown belt, very nice. The black one was a bit thin. David made several suggestions as to restitution, but I'll keep it, it was for dress only anyway.
On the marketing side, Kilt Store sent several business cards. Oddly, David did not. I've worn the sporran three times and have had requests for the makers name all three times.
Thanks again for all the nice comments. Now you guys in and around me here in central KY, lets get together for a cold adult beverage.

Very nice David, nice tartan, nice sporran (I have one of those too).
The two strap/buckle thing, yes I got caught with that with my Australian made kilt. I've been so used to have three buckles I didn't think to ask for it, and so I got two on one kilt I bought.
It holds up OK, not a lot of different, but three looks better to me.
