My wife bought me a beautiful dress sporran from Piper's Cove in NJ (I think) for my wedding gift about 7.5-years ago. It's black leather as a base material, has white rabbit fur on most of the front and silver cladding at the top and around the closure. I'm not sure what she spent on it but it's stunning with my Scotts American tartan 16-oz tank, PC jacket and black tie. I've never had any of the fur shed from it. I really like the white fur as a look.
