    Bubba,

Congratulations. Just in time for the cold months, coming sooner than any of us would like.

The Camerons were the last to officially wear the kilt in combat, during Dunkirk. Something to respect.

    A Great Day Bubba!

I came sooooo close to ordering one myself...still near the top of my bottemless wish list.

Can you say something about the fabric please? Read somewhere that the military kilts were more of a blanket type wool than the wool on the other hand sewns. Really wanna know when you get time.

    Thanks.

Yup Ron, it is closer to blanket material but finer weave and heavy. It's a very tight weave.

    Thanks Bubba,

One last question; (Hah!!) Is the tartan pattern actually woven into the material rather than printed...? I know that sounds dumb, just wanna be sure.

    Thanks,

Ron, it's woven in. Jerry has the original fabric reproduced with great authenticity. There's nothing second rate about this beast.

    Thanks Bubba,

Guessed it would be so. The stuff I've bought from What Price Glory has been top of the line...RAF Battlejacket, flying gloves...your kilt's twin is near the top of my wish list...Winter's coming to the canyonlands!

Hoping the high waist would work like a girdle for my massive front porch.

Can we get a close up pic of the WPG fabric, I'd like to see how rough it is and such.
