Born and raised in the South (Florida, Georgia and NC). Only here in CA cause the Army said so.
And thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Welcome. Make yourself at home, just keep your feet off the furniture.
P.S. If you're up for a short drive over the hill you should consider coming to Belmont for kilt night this coming Friday the 30th. Check the kilt night section of the forum for details.

He's not really talking about the furniture. It's code. Guy in a kilt, feet up, slouched back, nobody wants to see that, especially in mixed company.
Another US soldier in a kilt, still working on the why of that but, hey, cool.

Not only "another US soldier" but a pipe-swinging, ballbusting paratrooper.
Plus, I get the added fun of being able to wear the only truly recognized regimental tartan in the US Army - the 7th US Cavalry's!!
Garryowen!
