My X Marks Kiltpin Came Today.

Thanks, Hank. It's great! Here's a picture of it as a cap badge on my Balmoral bonnet.

Looks sharp, what's the "new clasp" like?

The new clasp is actually two pins sticking out, with what seem to be fairly strong spring clamps on them ... kind of like two tie-tacks.

At least if one comes loose you'll have the other pin to hold it for a while before you lose it.

The clasps on those pins are the same type I paid extra for on my uniform ribbon bars. Trust me, if you lose one of those, you will know it. It takes a pretty healthy yank once you have them on correctly.

I also got my pin today, and it's great. The clasps seem strong, and it weighs far more than any other kilt pin I have. It'll hold down the apron in a strong wind.

It's also a striking and handsome design.

My pin came today. Really well done, and worth the wait. Do you have any more, Hank?

I have 5 left. Maybe I will auction them off that way everyone who didnt get one has a fair shake. What do you guys think of that?

To be honest, I would rather you give them out in the order of those who requested them on the site. It seems more fair, and to be honest cheaper, than an auction.
