    Where would you live

Floowing our trip to Scotland I asked my wife where in Scotland would she like to live if we moved there.
She said she's happier in Tasmania, but play the game anyway.

She said Fort Augusta, I thought Skye would be a nice place to live.

Where would you live if you had the choice? ..either in Scotland or anywhere else.

Drumnadrochit, Portree, or one of the smaller towns near Inverness. (Scotland)

just outside of Dingle, Inishmoore, or Galway (Ireland)

I would like to try out New Zealand and Australia and I would also like to try living on the other side of my country, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island perhaps. As for locally, I have my eye on a ranch between the interior and the okanagan where the climate is perfect for having a winery or a guest ranch.

Don't know much about Scotland, though it sounds alot like Kodiak, where I spent several years.

I'd love to go there and find the right place.

Otherwise, Kodiak, Northern Michigan (including the UP), or any place like it. Forests, mountains, water all in one place.

I'm sure my wife could be convinced, she loves travelling and moving to different places (hey, I'm a clergyman, lots of experience).

The only place I can't live is somewhere dry or arid. Her asthma is very bad in dry weather.

Skye, huh? hmmmm More info, please.

Galway, Ireland, t'would be a bit of heaven, though Michigan's UP (in the summer) would be nice too.

    where to live...

Scotland: Inverness, anywhere near the River Spey & Monarch of the Glen Country.

Canada (in general), but specifically Nova Scotia, Alberta or BC.

US: Maine, Northern Arizona (Flagstaff), Missoula, Montana.

    Cheers,

    Todd

Graham, we spent a couple days in Dunoon and both liked it, a lot.

If not there, then I will just settle for where I am going to end up anyway, near Stirling. Puir me, eh? ;-)

I've seen some places I thought were very beautiful, like the mountains of Colorado, but I haven't found anyplace that I can say I wanted to live year round. There must be some gypsy blood somewhere in my ancestors!

    SKYE!!!

My wife and I were there a year back and fell in love. I would love to be there in the winter. Cold hard wet foggy and all.

    In state:

Probably the Hood Canal area of Washington...

    In the Pacific Northwest:

Somewhere in Oregon, either on the coast, or in the coastal mountain range.

    In the country:

Either northern New Mexico, or somewhere in central or western Colorado.

Worldwide, it'd either be somewhere here in the states, or somewhere in Scotland...
