I have seen kilted cyclists and I have pictures to prove it (though this site is not idealy designed for illustrating postings in such manner).
Personally the only regular activity I don't undertake in a kilt is my gym work-out. I can go to the gym kilted and although I also can show you pictures of guys working out in gym in kilt I'd prefer not to. (I mean, I prefer not to work out in a kilt as opposed to showing you the pics). I think everything else I do in life can be accomplished wearing the kilt - it is very versatile especially if you keep an older kilt handy for mucking about the house.

Before I retired, I couldn't work in a kilt. This was because pf practical reasons. Number one, I worked around rotating machinery and moving conveyers, so no loose clothing which could be caught in either. And number two, I worked around hazardous chemicals such as sulfuric acid, so nothing which didn't cover the legs and such was allowed. Women were not allowed to wear skirts or dresses out in the oplant for the same reasons. Presently, I wouldn't hunt in a kilt. Just the thought of pushing my way through briars in a kilt sends shivers up my spine, and I don't think it would be very practical for walking a climbing tree stand 20 feet up a tree.
