High Praise for the X Marks Tartan

Oh, and Ron, you'll probably be the first guy with a completed X Marks kilt, depending on how quickly Kathy can get to the job. It'll be at least a month before I can even start mine. I have a practice kilt to build first.

So when it's done, don't be shy with the pictures!!!

Aye for Matt and Steve. And for those of us who voted the final choice (wouldn't have mattered, both were cool), and the mill that helped with the details.

Thought Steve was at work on his X Marks tartan with the side pockets (drool slobber envy covet).

Kathy Lare indicated she was gonna sew up my kilt as soon as she finished sewing up some kilts for a wedding. She didn't say how many. Trying not to jones too much but dang...when the tartan impresses her its VERY hard not to wanna see it too.

And, she's sewing me that X Marks vest too. I really wanna see how a tartan vest goes with the plain kilts for office wear.

LETS DO THIS AGAIN!!

Matt, can you design an X Marks Hunting tartan? Or a Lord of the X Marks tartan? ;)

I liked the Idea of the Xmarks tartan that had more white in it being the "Dress Tartan"

But a Hunting tartan would be neat.

A month ago Kathy told me "Right now I've got to finish kilts for a weddding coming up and I can get to yours next."

Today, I got an email, "it should be about 6 more weeks to finishing everything. Can't wait to see how you like the pattern of the tartan sewed into the kilt!"

So another compliment, but also another six weeks of jonesing. Wish she hadn't got my hopes up with the first email...

At least it promises to be sharp looking...

I don't see why you're complaining, you rat: at least she has your tartan! She hasn't received mine from the mill yet to start my new tank and as James Dean would say, "it's tearing me apart!".

Bryan...the jones is pretty bad today: I might have to buy a new sporran or something...
