I used to work with a guy that kept goats. They're not sheared but he took the hairs off the fence everday and would weave that material.
It's not for me to draw lines on how we live with nature but those methods work very well for me.
Vegans do not use any animal products, even non-hurty ones like honey, wool, or milk. Hope that clears it up a bit.

Okay, that would be an answer. I guess if I want to say something about the futility of the absolute of that statement I should go somewhere else. Sometimes I can be diplomatic.
(Shay, I also recognize you're the messenger of this statement, not the author.)

Hey as wonderful as your debating is coming along I was just kind of looking for a "hello" and "there are alternatives" if you know of some. Shay, Archangel there is reasons for not using honey, milk or wool but I would sooner be pm'd with a question. Like I said I am just looking for some help with alternatives insted of contemplating what is moral. I say this all with the best of intentions
Thanks

Vegan McKilit, right on and THANK YOU for brining us back on topic. I'm not Vegan nor Vegitarian and don't rightly care why anyone chooses to be one, that's not what this thread was intended for. So I'll say it again, much the same way I do on many other threads:
Welcome! Sit back, relax and make yourself at home, just don't put your feet on the furniture.

Erm, in case it was missed somehow, I listed several companies that make Vegan-Friendly kilts.
But I see I forgot to link them. Bother.

http://www.freedomkilts.com/
http://www.utilikilt.com/
http://www.amerikilt.com
http://www.rkilts.com/
I don't know why I didn't make links before. Probably because it was late and I was loopy. My bad.
