For those of us with spare tires, those hanging sporran thingies are horrible. They hang about an inch or two out away from the kilt, and each step causes it to swing back and forth and hit you in the twig and berries. I tried to think of a nice way of putting this, I hope this is acceptable. They are a wretched idea, and the person responsible for their creation is in need of a swift kick in the hind end.

And with a slight topic shift... I need to find a good belt. The one I ordered from USA kilts, well, the area where it folds over and holds the buckle, the leather split away from the metal buckle bit thingy from all the strain. Second belt I bought did the same thing. I need a belt where the leather wont split where it strains on the metal loop thingamabob that holds the buckle to the belt. I guess I need a big thick strap of a belt. I do a lot of movement while kilted. Sitting, breathing, bending, climbing stairs, etc, and all of this movement really has torn my belt up. Any good belt recommendations?
