Who's ready for a Kilt night in Denver?
A friend of mine is one of the owners of Celtic Tavern in downtown Denver. I spoke with him about sponsoring a kilt night and he is all for the idea. We could have exclusive use of the Robert Burns room. He suggested that a Monday night would be best. So, I have been charged with seeing how many would be interested in attending and scheduling it.
We would also like to invite all who are interested in the kilt or kilt nights to attend, whether you show up kilted or not. The idea will be to meet other kitled brethren, and those interested in the kilt, in the Denver area. We would also like to discuss what might be done ongoing to help facitilitate kilted events, promoting and educating others about the kilt, and so forth. If there is interest and we make a regular showing there is the chance to have other special events at the Celtic Tavern to help promote the wearing of the kilt.
Please respond with your level of interest and be sure to let others who might be interested know about this as well.
Cheers,
Kevin

wish I'd known about you in July when I was in Denver, you, me and glen would have had a great time.
I'm sure Glen will be in it. The Celtic tavern sounds great.

If I haven't been sent to the gulf coast for hurricane cleanup...I'm there!! Better for me if we get a little advance notice though, eh? Maybe two or three weeks? Also, when we get a date, I'll check with the Celtic Connection to see if they have some kind of cheap public notice section.
Bryan..I'm stoked now for this... :-D

All Right!!!!!
Will be spreading the word to Xmarks members and others! It is funny that the last several years I have always watched the St Patrick's Day Parade from that corner.
Maybe we could convince Graham to come back to Denver and celebrate with us, it is just a hop skip and jump for him you know.

Bryan, Just checked my copy of the Celtic Connection. It looks like we could probably get it put on the calendar section for free, and you know how frugal we kilt wearers are.

Bryan,
No rush, Mate. We'll plan this as well as we can with some notice. Let's see how many we can get interested. God bless and be safe down there, man!

Count me in Kevin, that sounds like a great idea.
Amazing so many of us are in the Denver area.

How 'bout Monday Nov 7?
All right, Lads. We have enough, me thinks, to constitute a quorum. So howzabout Monday Nov. 7 at say 7:00 PM? Check it out and respond with alternates, if something else works better.
Blessings,
Kevin

Just a little schedule juggling, I should in all liklihood be there, even though it might be a little late.
