    Sorry to hear that your first day out in the kilt was a little rough. You are in good company here though. Like you said, stupid people are everywhere. It takes courage to wear the kilt with pride and confidence in public. Keep at it... there are some folks who will appreciate it and tell you so.

    I am also new to wearing the kilt, but find that the more I wear it the more confident I become and the more nice comments I recieve. But we will likely run into that odd idiot on occassion too.
