    That's why they sell the sporran. The correct location is where it is high but still low enough to weight down the apron.

    A quick weighing down with your hand helps too; as you sit place your hand down between your legs to insure that the material falls between your legs.

    And yes, the sporran helps immensely

    Aye, practice the quick 'legs-open-sporran-push-down' when taking a seat and it'll become second nature to you.
