they come in threes

I'm out of pocket on a business trip and the week has been full of news.

My best friend from college passed away. My brother (Lieutenant in the USAF) heads back to Iraq today. My father found out he has an eighty-three year old half-brother.

No point to make about any of it. It all just has my head in that space where I'm a bit tender, a bit numb and watching it all unfold.

For each of you who have family or friends who are far away, I wish you happy reunions, health and safety, and peace in your homes.

Hi Scotty-
Yes indeed they do come in threes.
And sometimes its rather hard to take and understand.
This year my Mom passed away, my Father in Law just had a heart attack
and my 87 year old Aunt passed (the last two just this week).

I haven't even started the grieving process yet.
