It put my marker out in the boonies.
The town is actually southeast of the marker, at the base of the mountains.

I could see my house though & it looks like my truck was in the driveway at the time of the photo. Too cool.
I could even see the tailings piles from a couple of the mines I enjoy hikeing to above the house.

Now if I could only put my marker on my house.

For what it's worth, the pic (at least in my area) is about 18 mo - 2 years old.

I finally (what a palaver!) got myself registered, but I find myself in two locations! The first one, which is incorrect, would not accept a photo. The second one did, but the location is still several miles out. Using the satellite, I cannot get anywhere near my home before the definition deteriorates to an absolute blur - cannot see the road let alone the house.

Oh, well! That's what comes of living out in the sticks!

It is a fascinating site nevertheless.

Thanks Paul. That's great - but the marker is still several miles away from Storrington!! No matter. I doubt anyone else will be registering in this area!!

That is so cool! I found the mall, followed the highway to my church which I can see clear as a bell and all the way out to within a mile of my house.....and the super duper zoom ends. Oh well, they'll get us eventually. They get everyone eventually.......:o
