Just bumping this topic forward as a reminder to the locals that although Kevin (kiltedManxman) won't be able to attend, the kilt night is still on for the 14th at the Celtic Tavern.
Bryan...looking forward to seeing you all there!

A Kilted Night it is...
Thanks to GMan for the invite. I signed up here today, and look forward to meeting you guys. I went out last night in my UK to the Irish Snug with friends. It felt good to be back in the kilt. Hadn't realized today is Kilt Day too...will be wearing it again to celebrate!
Cheers,
Dave

Gents,
It now appears that I will not be able to attend. My engagement in Sydney is being held over the weekend and I just won't get back in time to my great regret.
Drink one for me, and I'll catch the next one. Perhaps my granite tartan tank will be done by then!
Cheers

I'm new here, and this sounds like fun. I assume the invitation is open?
Are we talking about the pub named the "Celtic," which doesn't serve Guinness? (At least, they didn't last time I was there.)

Thanks, GMan.
Suppose I'll have to make do with Smithwick's or Boddington's - if they have those.... :-|
Refresh my memory, as it's been a few years. What are the nearest cross streets?
