It's true. It rarely gets below -15 celcius in Vancouver. Not freeze your nostrils cold, but chilly enough to pull my socks up. I find it invigorating.

Your post reminded me of coming in from my sundeck, barefoot, wearing a 4 yard kilt and a tee-shirt and hearing on the news that it was snowing in Calgary.
We all sadly shook our heads and thought, "those poor people in Calgary."
Then someone snorted when he couldn't hold in the laughter and we all cracked up. We laughed until we had to get cold drinks to cool down.
