Have to agree with everybody! And along the lines of checking the rear, it is a must before leaving the restroom where the stop required "paperwork"! Wouldn't want to have some pleats hung up or creased the wrong way! But I still worry if somebody sees me checking!

It's the same here.I pay very close attention to what matches before I go out kilted.I do the same for work.Back in the days when I wore pants,I never really cared.

Oh CRAP!!! does this mean I'll have to learn Access when my kilt wardrobe reaches a certain density? Maybe there is a database application I can run on my XBox.

And yes to the original question-I'm much more aware of what I'm wearing now that I spend so much time kilted.

Oh good. I thought it was only me. I can't imagine standing in my closet for 5 or 10 minutes deciding which hose goes with what shirt while wearing troosers.

Same here, but almost anything goes with blue jeans. But when I was ordering kilt hose the other day (I forget who posted the link to Sierra Trading Post, but thank you) and I'm thinking "Alright, that one should go with the Robertson Red, and those two with the Red or the Hunting, but I need a blue and a gray to go with the shirts I'm likely to wear ...":-?

Makes me think I should just toss on a UK, my Pendleton plaid shirt in Robertson Red, and a pair of hiking socks - and if anyone asks, I'm a dyslexic Scotsman!

I think you're right about that. I was just looking at a couple of UKs on ebay - seperate auctions, two sizes - 44 & 40, from the same seller. In each, he said he had bought the UK and then dieted out of it.

As I read this, I thought about how many times I have seen that same thing said on ebay, and how I did the same thing with my first UK - wore it twice, and then dieted right out of it.

I think that once we're cognizant of being the center of attention, we start paying more attention to the image that we put out there.

Ron, glad to see that someone still wears baja jackets besides me. 8-)

On coordination, I'm stressing more about what color my kilt hose should be. Does the natural wool color work with everything? Or should I get a pair of dark wool hose to go with my Black Watch?
