Well best of luck for your team in the match. Wish I could watch it here, but in Alberta we seem to be in a rugger void. To be honest I'm pulling for the All Blacks. I've been a big fan of theirs since the days of Carlos Spencer ( arguably the best back row man out there) Oh well good luck

I'll tell ya...I wore my kilt through all of the White Sox playoff games and every game in the World Series and they took it all. So wear the thing,, drink heavily and cheer on your home team.

All I know about rugby, I've seen at University games here in the States, but it doesn't look like Wales fared to well:
Wales: 3
New Zealand: 41
:-(
Oh well, I hope you had fun at the pub anyway!

It was a good day out but unfortunately Wales lost
Wales 3 All Blacks 41
We all sank a few pints before the match and several more after to drown our sorrows. Strange that on this outing, for the first time I did'nt see any other Cilts/Kilts. At the pub, which was absolutely heaving (Plastic Glasses and all that .. I hate 'em), everybody seemed to be in jeans, including the women so I felt I was on a crusade being the only one in a Cilt. It still did not draw much special attention, just an occasional remark or witty comment, but I expect that on match day when there are large groups of men out together on the 'pop'. They are always a bit more loud mouthed and trying to be 'manly' .. guess you guys know what I mean.

Rugby Game
Well done Derek ! I did in fact see a kilted guy wearing ( I think) the Wales national tartan on a TV interview at the stadium. He was not earing a sporran. It was great to see.

Derek, sorry your team lost. So did Tech. At least you could drown your sorrows, where I couldn't. I don't drink much at bars. They are quite strict about drinking and driving here in the states and the nearest bar (pub) is over 30 miles away, so walking is out of the question.
