I wear my kilt to the shooting range all the time. It is the one place I know I can wear my kilt and not one person will say anything one way or another about it.

    Really

I gotta admit kilts and chicago typewriters are way cool!!!

My only problem on the range is that everyone keep asking when the pipers are going to start?

I'm a hunter and shooter.. I've been hunting for many years. I hunt with a Rem. 700 Mountain rifle .30-06.. It's there lightweight model. I had a muzzle brake put on the reduce a wicked recoil.. It has a Leopold Vari-x2 3X9 scope on top.. I can drive tacks a 100+ yards.

My best stalk was with a good friend and our bows... We managed to stalk
to within 15 yards of 3 whitetail deer. They never saw us but felt uneasy an moved off.. We could manage a shot.. RATS!

My most exhilarating hunt was in Ohio. We were hunting Russian Black Boar with our bows on foot no gun backup! Out o 11 hunters we shot 12 boars.. What a total rush! a couple of
the hunters got run up trees by the boars....
It's real different when the prey fights back!!

Back here in Michigan our Whitetail deer season opens in 10 days!! I'll be taking a week off of work to go hunting with my Dad and some of his retiree buddies.. I've been hunting with them for a couple of years now and we have a lot of fun!!

I am shooter by profession *grin* and I do hunt too. Birds mostly. I use a Zabala side-by-side 12g. (for which I made a very cool buttplate recently...) had to mention that!
