    Bagpipers - parlor sticks?

For those of you who are pipers,

I'm looking at these things called 'parlor sticks' that you use in your regular pipe bag, to play indoors at a lower volume.

    Any opinions, experiences, recommendations?

    Please chime in.

Where are you seeing these? I've heard of "parlor pipes" which are small sets for playing at a reduced volume (nice for indoors or for playing with other instruments, so you don't drown them out) but never parlor sticks. In general, "sticks" refers to the drones and the blowstick, but NOT the stocks into which they fit, so I'm guessing that these are short/narrow-bore drones with a normal stock? If they require a special stock, then it would be a lot easier to get their own bag and just treat them as a separate set, rather than having to tie them then into the bag. I can see where there might be a market for these ...
I like my parlor pipes a lot, although I'm still trying to find a chanter reed that's loud enough not to get drowned out by the drones. The drone sound is a very pleasant hum - makes it easy to understand why a small medieval bagpipe from Germany was called "hummelchen" (bumblebee).

If you have a link to these, I'd be curious to see them.
