Anyone play Call of Duty 2?
I just picked up the game tonight, and was playing. I noticed that one of the troops that fights alongside you in the English missions is Pvt. MacGregor.
Not only is he the one who finds a stash of booze after one mission, but he's also wearing a piece of tartan while in battle

I just got the CoD box set (original and united offensive expansion) back in september. I set my mind to it and beat both in two days. Or was it two days each? Either way I did it the first time on regular and the second time it took a couple more days on hardened.
Did you notice if his tartan was clan specific or if it is just black watch?

I just play Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood. In that game you time to time even get the feeling that "Hey! This war is not won by one man only afterall!"

CoD was fairly easy. I didn't get the expansion though.

It's not black watch. I didn't get a good enough look at it, but it's a red-based tartan. It may be a Macgregor tartan, but I couldn't get a close enough look at it.
And CoD2 is more like that, Ackwell, in that it's difficult to do much on your own. In CoD if you lost your whole group, you could easily finish a mission on your own (which was usually the way I liked to handle it anyway ). CoD2 is more difficult with that strategy.
Whereas in CoD it was very linear (almost every enemy would pop up in front of you, rather than ambushing from the sides or rear), CoD2 has enemies that will pop up in front, to the sides, and sometimes from the rear as well. You need your squad to help watch your back.
