Nothing like a little good clean fun!!:-D I'm not as active as I used to be on Jeepers. There got to be a little to much drama and childish junk on there for a while.. Seems a bit better as of late.

Yup, I think the drama of MI Jeepers was what drove a bunch of the Yoopers to start their own BBS. But, there's drama on there too, so I guess you really can't get away from it.

Next, I think it's wonderful that your wife is sewing your kilt. But you can keep in mind for your next kilt that all traditional kilts, and many casual kilts, are tailor made to your measurements. You only need to submit your measurements to the kiltmaker. This is normal procedure, and it's one thing that makes the wait time so long, and raises the prices.

However, if your wife is willing to put up with making all the kilts you're going to desire once the kilt jones hits you, you can save some money!

Well, we have more time than money, so any future kilts will likely be made by my wife. She's a great seamstress and loves to sew, so it's just a matter of me trying to talk her into doing more. If I buy the fabric, I can guilt her into it by saying, "Hey, you don't want this good wool to go to waste, do you?"

Now that I'm a little more familiar with kilt terminology, I can further describe the kilt that my wife is making as an 8 yard semi traditional, and she's doing a great job. I'll post some pics of it when she's finished.

As far as more kilts, I think that I do need at least one in one of the MacMillan tartans, then I think that I need a kilt in the clergy tartan, plus, I think a black kilt would be pretty cool...
