Look at this way Graham, good things come to those that wait. Of course the good stuff is well worth the wait and ever more appreciated once you have tried the others.

You know, I've yet to develop this reverence for single malt. I'm not sure why, it's the sort of thing I ought to enjoy.

Now, good, stout ale, that's different!!!

My fiance's parents called from Scotland last week and asked if there was anything we wanted. Our reply was a few bottles of Arbeg. The next phone call said that they had some for us. I cannot wait.

Graham. You already tasted Talisker? Another of my favourites. The only single malt from the Isle of Skye! I try to recommend it and Laph to everyone because they are both equally astounding

Oh, in a matter of fact... I need to book ticket for the christmas cruise to get both a bottle for tax free

As strong as Laphroaig...or even stronger...an explosion of taste, seaweed, salty peat...not for the fainthearted

    Cheers!

Alan. don't worry about not being head over heels about whisky, stay as you are - it's cheaper!

Ackwell, yes I love Talisker too.

Robin, I'd like to try lagavulin, they're close to laphroaig and Ardbeg on Islay,

so many whiskies, so little money!!!:-D

Lagavulin is damn cheap....err...well...it's not, but when you enjoy it (close your eyes when you do the nosing) it's like a small vacation to Islay itself
