For those of you waiting with baited breath, please check out these wedding photos...not as many kilts as I would've liked, but what can you do?

No piper? I'm sorry to have to tell you but I don't think the ceremony is technically binding if there isn't a piper involved somehow.

    Great album.

The priest is obviously eastern rite - Melkite, Ruthenian, or Lebanese?

The Church looked great, but not as great as your lovely bride, or her dashing groom!

    Congratulations!

And, as for the piper, you can have that for your anniversary!

    Father John,

That would be Fr. Conan Timoney, Protopresbyter for the Middle States Syncellate of the Eparchy of Passaic in the Ruthenian Metropolita of Pittsburgh.

    In short, Ruthenian

But we got married in her parents Italian church.

So it went like this. Kilted Scots-German groom married by an Irish priest of a Slavic church in an Italian parish followed by a Polish reception complete with the singing of Spadla z Wisni and polka.

How about that for a melting pot?

Strains of Neil Diamond's "They're Coming To America" are wafting through my head... sounds like a great service!
