I told her about the "ad" I put up ....and I was told to mention that she stayed up till 0200 to bid on it at the last 30 seconds to make sure she got it!

I dont mean to sound ...i donno like Im rubbing it in or anything...Im just really excited!  this will be the first "new" kilt for me in about 6 years ....only need 11 more to have one for everyday for two weeks w/o wearing the same one twice. I want to get to that point ....where I dont HAVE to wear p@^T$ except for work.....but those are hospital scrubs , and I dont mind cause their so thin and baggy it doesnt seem like p@^t$ anyways
on day I will be able to say "hmm which kilt should I wear today?"

    Cheers
    Scott

That doesn't look like one of those crappy cheap kilt packages, which is what I assumed when I saw the price. If it's as described, your wife got a fabulous deal. Congratulations on finding such a good shopper.

As an aside, the habit of wearing different clothes every day is very American and very modern. When I was in Italy I noticed that everyone wore the same clothes 2 days in a row. I've been to other parts of Europe, too. I can sum up what I saw like this, everyone has a smaller house than what we're used to in America. And things are relatively much more expensive. They have lass space to store clothes, so they have fewer clothes. They wash them less frequently so the clothes last much longer. One woman told me a friend asked her "Do you like this sweater? I hope so, because if I get it you're going to see me in it all the time." A decent kilt is an expensive item and people aren't really expected to have a different one for evey day of the week. You can't apply the rules that you have for the rest of your wardrobe to your kilts.

I know that you have another one of its way already too.

At this rate, you'll have your full wardrobe by St. Patrick's Day!!!
