There's not really any question is there? On either issue? The real question is "Who will be the second?" behind Hamish and Graham. I can't even imagine surpassing one of the "masters".

I don't know about Graham - Kilted Code Warrior might edge him out. Hamish definately.

Kiltedcode might get more kilts than Gray but I don't think he can catch Gray's lead in posts.

Gray is way out there with the posts (I really do not know where he finds the time!!).
As for the kilts: I have never set myself any form of target, but I am currently at 57. There was a 'phone call from Howie's office yesterday to tell me that my 'Grey Thistle Dubh' has been finished and that he'll be bringing it to London next weekend (I'm collecting it on Saturday). At the same time, I'll be handing him my "X Marks..." tartan and can expect to receive it back in kilt form in January. That'll be the 59th after which, I am not sure. There are still a number of 'wants' and 'must haves' on my list. Oh, it's anybody's race!!!

I can see the wants and have needs for in kilts, as my list is growing longer all the time.
Now the posts are another matter.

Just looking at Graham's posts and mine, I am a Kilted Elder short of catching up to and surpassing Graham. Oh the resposnsibility!

wow, I'm away for few hours and everyone is talking about me!!
Really, there is a big difference between my 4,500 posts and 10,000, and my ten kilts don't come close, it might even be a tough call for Hamish!
Sorry folk, our honoured Canuck mate is dreaming here!!
BTW, Canuck, can you supply me with 90 kilts in the next month??:-D

Graham, unless you're able to substantially increase your post rate, it will be roughly two years of dedicated posting before you hit the 10,000 mark. Certainly achievable. 8)
As for the 100 kilts... all it takes is willingness to divest oneself of the approx. $40,000 usd to do it... plus the cost preparing suitable storage facilities.
