Cool!
Probably didn't want to loose access to the farm fresh eggs.
I love the fresh cheese the polygamists make over in Colorado City, Arizona.
When I drive over there to buy their cheese I'd never think of mocking their pioneer style of dress...I want the cheese!!
Course, think I'm a treat to them when I show up in the summer kilted, in sandals and tank top with lots of tattoos, long hair and beard. They get to stare at me for a change. All the tourists passing through usually stare at them.

Your post encouraged me to post a wonderful kilted experience I had yesterday (Saturday) at the local mall. My g/f of 4 years and I were looking at jewelry, standing at a busy intersection in the center of the mall, I was looking at a perimeter display and a young couple approached me. They looked to be in their late teens or early 20's. The young lady asked if there was some Scottish event going on. I replied, "Not that I know of." She said, "Well, you are the 3rd guy in a kilt we have seen here today and we figured maybe there was a reason." I nodded and said, "Yeah, there's a reason, it's really comfortable." I handed him a Utilikilts business card with my website URL written on the back and asked him to check it out.
He said he had just gotten back from the Gulf War and he had seen about a dozen guys wearing kilts in the past few weeks. He added, "Before I left in the Summer of 2004, I had never seen anyone in a kilt, except at the Scottish Games!" She added, "And we've seen them on TV alot more too." I replied, "Yeah, it's becoming more common as guys are finding out about the benefits." "Benefits?" she asked. My girlfriend (bless her heart) turned and touched my knee and said, "Like easy access!" The girl blushed and the guy nodded saying, "Hey, I'm all for that, where do I sign up?" She hit him in the arm and they laughed. She said, "Seriously, I think it's cool." He added, "It takes some serious balls, but I'm up for it!" They thanked us and walked away, talking about him wearing a kilt for their upcoming wedding.
Chalk one up for the power of the kilt!

COOL is what I always get from the 20 somethings. It really does do my heart well when I hear things like that.
