    Sorry WhiteravenJr I thought that I initilly responded to your question, but apparently deceived myself.

    Yes the so called "experts" who know it all sometimes are not willing to practice what they preach. I personally would prefer a sporran unless of course your kilt is like a Utilikilt or something similar. Like Switchblade5984 said, if he doesn't wear a kilt, what gives him room to say what is appropriate?
