Thanks for posting that link. I never bothered to learn anything about color coordination, much to my wifes despair. In the past, I just wore black and blue jeans with whatever color shirt. Obviously, kilts have changed this somewhat. Maybe, if I study this site a little bit, I'll be able to dress myself again without hearing screams of anguish!

Derek, for me, I would tend to pair that tartan with a sweater that matched/complimented/coordinated the colors in the kilt. For me, the blue, black, red, and gray in the kilt do not coordinate with the earth tones in the rest of the outfit. Might just be my own biases from too many years of wearing p#$%s! I can not argue that the sweater, hose, and shoes all coordinate nicely, just not sure about with that tartan. Not sure that it does not either! Kilt fashion is so new and open to most of us, with the exception of Ham's examples, that no one can say what really is good fashion.
